Minor Project: Eastern Elk Coloured Shadows 2

More coloured shadows test on the Elk, this time concentrating on polar opposites red, blue and purple. Numbers 2, 4, 6 and 8 from the top image looks interesting to me.

  1. When you have multiple coloured shadows, it gives the impression of your animals 'vibrating'. I'd suggest the 'one shadow' works more peacefully - and for me, it's got to be number 5. You know, I've been thinking for a while that actually your elk looks a bit 'grubby' - it's the combination of the yellow and the greyness - he looks a bit unwashed, somehow - not as fresh as your other creatures. I'm wondering if you could 'clean' his colours up a bit?

    1. Hi Phil, thanks, I'll get the elk cleaned up! :) As for the shadows on the rest of the animals, do I leave out the rim lighting idea and stick to one shadow? The mink and the butterfly's got a few on them.
