It has been decided from my previous animatic post, version 2 seemed to work better than version 1. So here it is, the final animatic! :D

Minor Project: Abstract concepts tests
Using the colour palette scheme, I've applied the colours and played around with them onto the abstract scenes as a test to make them look more bolder in terms of colour.

The images below were slightly difficult as I want them to look vibrant, yet make the characters stand out without getting blended in or become too vivid. I quite like Set 1 number 3 and Set 2 number 2.

Minor Project: Animatic Draft 05
Getting there!! I've made a few more tweaks to the animatic, cutting out the sun as I've noticed that when it comes to the animation, my background would be white therefore the sun would either appear missing or odd as a different shade of grey. I've also changed the timing of the echoes a bit but have ended up with two versions that I really like but can't choose between the two! Echo 1 has a slight "echo-fade" delay and Echo 2 is more abrupt with a slight echo at the end. :)

Minor Project: Animatic draft 04
This time, I've put more focus into the ending sequence, playing around with camera angles and layers. Not sure does the "close up eye" bit works in terms of dramatic impact.

Minor Project: Animatic draft 03 & Tutorial 03
After my tutorial with Alan, it was decided to replace the opening with a fade in as previously with a framed image this can give out the ending too soon. Another few minor changes were made in the animatic, along with the ending sequence which was to define the depth distance between the animals. As for the echo, I've tried to create this using GarageBand as it was a lot more easier to handle and is also a good way of getting back into it since I haven't used GarageBand in years! I've came up with three different versions of the echo but have narrowed it down to two, I think echo version two works as there is a slight delay in the echo. Feedback on this would be greatly appreciated and welcomed!! :D

Minor Project: Animatic sequence updates
Here are the latest sequences of the animatic. I've applied some changes to them such as the beginning and the middle of the animatic and also bringing back the sea mink. At the moment, I'm still exploring ways to have the mink have a little abstract/montage of its own like the others. I've had a look at some footage in getting the mink to run and had a little go at rough animating this into my animatic. Happy to say it works! :D

Minor Project: Project development- Tutorial 02- Animatic
After showing my animatic to Alan, developments are needed. The animatic needs some development in the transitions as well as the opening and ending are needed some working with. I prefer ending A as ending B, after looking back at it many times looks a bit too cold.

"A Fishy Tale" Animatic
Here's my first practice in making an animatic using the stills from my storyboard. I've a few shots in the animatic just to make things look more clearer. Apologies!! Its nearly 2 mins long but will try and figure out which shots needs to be cut out. I'm not really good with sound/music but feedback and opinions would be greatly appreciated. ^_^
