Narrative and Character: Anecdote Studios: Alan fixed?

Render test image.
I've fixed the walk this time hoping that the feet would go in sync. The walk looks fine from other angles apart from the front which looks as if he's riding an "invisible bike". I also had some extra advice from Bo, Andi and Nat (Thanks!! :D) in trying to make the character look more "fluid and relaxed", so I've added some arm, upper and lower torso movements. I've kept in the shadows and the turntable in as the wireframes and the block model both have the tables in them.

I also didn't realise that another camera was added in the render process but thought I put it up anyway for fun. :D

Narrative and Character: Anecdote Studios:FAO: Anecdote Studios Team- Alan Character settings

Guys, just a little note here on getting the "perfect expressions" if yous want it on the Alan model.

To find the Jaw Ctrl-its at the back of his head. I've put that and the eye ctrls (on the right) both indicated in yellow.

Just move the Jaw rotate to the digit written below and ta-da!!

(Sorry got carried away during rigging and thats how its ended up at the back of his head!!)

Please Note: The jaw rotate default for his mouth to close is -32. I dont know how that happened but  -32 is the number!

Numbers to  put under jaw rotate for the "perfect expression":

Eee                                      -                              -21.32
Uuu                                      -                              -12.1
Ooo                                     -                              -23
Mm/Bb                                -                              -32
Argh                                    -                              -6.17
Frown                                 -                              -32

Deafult Mouth Close      -                              -32

Also all the files and backup on the character are on the Dropbox folder under "Alan_Model". Let me know if theres any problems accessing them.

Narrative and Character: Anecdote Studios: Alan-rigged,skinned,blended= complete!!

Finally after many weeks, I've got the character all rigged, skinned and blend shaped ready for animating!! ^_^ There was a slight mishap when it came to blendshaping the model's expressions like teeth getting stuck, twitching and many other bits and bobs. Many thanks to Alan for helping to get this fixed!!

Narrative and Character: Anecdote Studios: Alan rigging and skinning update 2

"(middle) Mouth and Jaw set to "Eee" expression"

"(middle) mouth and jaw relaxed"
Another small update this time, his arms, legs and head are all rigged and skinned with just the mouth shapes to go. So far, following the tutorial, this is my first attempt in recreating the mouth shape for "Eee". This still needs some retweaking since the mouth shape for "E" has a strange look on his face. Won't be long til he's ready to go!! :D

Narrative and Character: Anecdote Studios: 1960's Radio style test

Our team were discussing different ways to recreate a 1960's radio announcement style using a fresh new voice over. With the help from sound music mad Andrew McDowe, I've got some tips and advice using effects from Premiere Pro. Using a clip that I've taken, I've applied some effects onto the clip and this is how it came out. :D So far, I have shown the group of this example and hope to apply this onto our proper voice over.

Narrative and Character: Anecdote Studios: Old Animatic

Old version of our animatic, no sound or voice overs in this version. Changes needs to be made and a new animatic will be uploaded soon!! :D
