The Reason of Abduction?

According to the internet, the number of alien abductions has risen considerably in recent times. There are some theories as to the reason why:

• Other lifeforms are stepping up their quest for a new planet due to their need to relocate in order to survive
• They are colonizing and breeding with us to produce a hybrid race
• They are evil, nasty beings
• They are benevolent, spiritual beings doing these things for our own good

How to Know if You've Already Been Abducted

Apparently there is a list of telltale signs that you may have already been abducted. There are at least 58 different symptoms. Here’s the strange stuff:

• You have periods of time when you cannot remember where you were or what you did
• You have marks or scars that you aren't able to explain
• You wake up in a different place from where you fell asleep, and you don't know how you got there
• Your physician or you find a small, strange object inside your body that can't be explained 
• You believe that you had sexual intercourse during the night or had semen extracted from you
• You have had strange occurrences in your life that you don't understand and can't explain
• You feel 'special' or 'chosen'
• You have very low self esteem
• You are paralyzed in bed with a being in your room
• You were pregnant, now you're not - but you did not give birth

How to get protected

If in doubt:

• Move to France. Someone on the site's research team couldn't find any record of alien abductions in France, so it seems like a safe bet.
• Pretend to be a tourist. They say that you should always carry a camera. Everyone knows that aliens hate having their picture taken. Also recommend waving a frozen chicken over your head.

• Shielding - THOUGHT SCREEN HELMET- The thought screen helmet look a little silly and of course tin-foil hats are used as ridicule but it actually might not be a bad idea.

• Protect your brain from RF (radio-frequency) pollution with a handsome baseball style hat. • A Sleeping Cap- Effective shielding may actually protect a person from alien abduction. A special sleeping cap could be created or you could try and put the shielding inside of a regular cap or hat. No one will have to know.

• You can also try shielding a room, a window, entry points etc. 
• An entry point for aliens seems to be the window or bedroom door.

• Shielding from eyes - A type of sleeping google can be devised to prevent access through the eyes. Some abductees report a watching and staring technique as a form of control. Preventing access to the cranium and eyes may be a way to prevent an abduction by these beings.

There is no guarantee that this will stop abductions but if abductions are occurring the aliens are probably targeting the brain. A lot of people seem concerned about the harmful affects of cell phones so that's an added bonus with shielding.

Just found some interesting info about the Roswell incident that some believe is a governemntal hoax and some that actually believe the otherworldly beings.

"The US Government experimented with various airfoil designs, including a ceramic frisbee shape, launched with great slingshots. When too many details of these experiments leaked out, the government prepared a smokescreen. They pretended to leak documents claiming they found aliens in UFOs. Then they pretended to cover up these leaks. The result: Thousands of believers in the Cult of the UFO now generate so much noise, the Ruskies cannot get any clear signal on our actual experiments. "

Narrative and Character: Anecdote Studios: Some Script Ideas

Just some script ideas that I've came up with during these few days.

Synopsis ideas:

1.       Possibly a character is reading off a leaflet about the bomb threat that’s about to come, but can’t able to have those things listed. He instead finds whatever things that’ll work similar to the leaflet such as getting a bomb helmet meaning he’ll get a tortoise over his head instead.

2.       A bomb alert is hoisted signaling all to be ready for the explosion. A guy panics as he’s limited with time, runs around the house in panic and grabs random ridiculous things that he finds maybe of help for his protection. Whilst searching, he gets more and more paranoid at himself for not being prepared in the first place but does things at the last minute.

3.       An advertisement on TV (the classic black and white TV) promoting about bomb threat protection in a “generation game” style. The items are shown on a conveyor belt are within the time period (1945-1960) in front of a 50’s character which the character has to choose the items that can “maybe of use” in terms of protection. This can include ridiculous things such as a hairnet protecting another hairnet, etc. (Dialogue is spoken similar to Pleasantville).

4.       A 1950’s comic strip showing a group of kids interacting with another talking about bombs. They talk about the weirdest ideas of protection and one kid becomes paranoid as he tries to argue with the facts of history and leaves.

5.       A how not to fail at bomb protection video (in a narrative style like the “How to” films with Goofy) which sees a narrator explaining about how to get protected as we see a character goes through ridiculous items to “be protected” until he gets it right.

6.       A group of kids are watching TV, suddenly the area surrounding them turns black and white as they are taken into the world where they are minutes away from a bomb explosion and must find ways to protect themselves. Some become hysterical, some calm, some just went crazy. Some use proper things to protect themselves from the bomb, some don’t and use silly things. Just when the bomb explodes, everything turns white and they are taken back to their real world, back to when they were watching TV with the narrator commenting on a comical note.

7.       A depiction of “what if” aliens took over our world and humans are about to launch a bomb at them. Aliens begin their own military and the humans do so, but are scared of each other due to the shock and panic.

8.       People are enjoying their happy “perfect” world until several “new technology” items begins to appear, this causes the society to begin to have a mixture of emotions like, scared, paranoia and anger. The fear caused makes them too cautious of things, even to go as far as being scared of each other, shadows and even their everyday objects.

Mudbox: Week 2

This week we are learned more of the sculpting, including how to create hair. We've then experimented in recreating a face using the sculpting tool and others. At first, modelling is one of my weakest points but today I'm quite proud of this experiment. ^_^

Last week was getting to know the basic tools of mudbox. So we played around with the different ready made basic models. Here I've been playing around not just the models but also the lighting and different materials.
